In the summer of 2005, the Ryan family, mom Brenda and her two beautiful daughters, Georgia and Lauren, turned their love for their pets into a family business called 'Georgia Farms Horse Treat Company' and 'Lauren's Poochie Snacks.' The Ryan's owned two horses at the time and attended all the weekend horse shows around Southern California. They always baked their own treats for their horses and dogs and it just became a staple around the Ryan household.

One day at Brenda's mom's house, a contractor doing work on the kitchen ate one of the horse treats and before anyone could inform him of what he had just consumed he said, "These cookies taste great but they're a little dry." By the time everyone stopped laughing, the writing was on the wall and the Georgia Farms Horse Treat Company was born.

Presently, we bake fresh animal treats daily at our Long Beach location, but will soon be expanding into a larger facility that can deliver five times the fresh product that we are currently producing. To keep up with the demand of all the hungry pets out there, we produce only a limited number a day. The fresh high-quality ingredients that we insist on for our animals will always be the status quo.

We love being together every day as a family, hangin' around the kitchen baking, talking about horses, dogs, cats, and any related subjects.
